At the Kids with Cancer Society, we believe that no family should face childhood cancer alone. We are incredibly fortunate to be supported by a dedicated network of parents, friends, and community members who turn our programs into reality.

As a volunteer, you aren’t just giving your time—you are providing hope, joy, and essential support to children and families during their most challenging journeys.

How You Can Make a Difference

There are many ways to lend a hand, depending on your interests and availability:

Community & Fundraising Events: Help bring our signature fundraising events to life. From setup and registration to serving guests, supporting activities, and assisting with event logistics, volunteers play an important role in creating welcoming and memorable experiences for our supporters.
Fundraising Initiatives: Support the events that make our no-cost programs possible, from community galas to local fundraisers.

Casino & 50/50 Volunteers: Provide critical support for fundraising opportunities that directly help sustain our programs and services. These opportunities may involve off-site locations, evening or late-night shifts, and occasional short-notice scheduling, making flexibility especially valuable.
Administrative Support: Contribute behind the scenes by assisting with data entry, filing, mailings, event preparation, record management, and other organizational tasks. These details make a meaningful difference in helping our team serve families and operate efficiently.

The application takes approximately two minutes to complete, and you can save your progress and return later if needed.

We are incredibly fortunate to have a loyal and dedicated volunteer community, and we sincerely appreciate every individual who expresses an interest in supporting our mission. While new volunteer opportunities may be limited at times, each application is carefully reviewed and helps us identify potential volunteers when needs arise. Once your application has been submitted, a member of our team will follow up regarding next steps.

Please note: Volunteer recruitment most often occurs in advance of specific events or through one or two general onboarding opportunities each year. As a result, it may take some time to match you with an available role. We encourage you not to be discouraged by this delay and are grateful for your patience as opportunities become available.
