Revving up for Kids at Home
Cancer doesn’t quit and neither do we! COVID-19 might have changed our annual event but it hasn’t changed our focus. Children are still getting cancer, they need us now more than ever!
If you have a motorcycle, a big heart and love to ride, REV-IT-UP for children in our community who are battling cancer. You can ride solo, or in small groups, as permitted by current regulations.
It’s easy—REGISTER ONLINE, FUNDRAISE, CRUISE the streets, POST a picture on social media #revvingathome2020 and BRING HOPE and joy to a child.
There is NO REGISTRATION FEE and there is a suggested fundraising amount of $250. The HIGHESTINDIVIDUAL FUNDRAISER will win a signed Connor McDavid jersey!
About the Event
In 2006 the “LOOK and Stepper Homes Revving up for Kids Motorcycle Adventure” was created. This annual event encourages motorcycle riders across the province to join together in an effort to support children with cancer and their families demonstrating that there are no geographic boundaries where childhood cancer is concerned.
Dan Brazinha, Burke Perry, and Harry and Eva Stepper spearheaded the event by combining their interest and love of motorcycles with a sincere desire to help children with cancer. Involving staff, family, partners and friends, their motives were simple to make a difference in the lives of children with cancer. The committee has expanded to include other community members who are genuinely interested in our children’s future.
100% of these pledges go directly to support children with cancer and their families enabling us to provide more than 50 programs and services.
