The Society continues to seek ways to raise funds for our children. Here are some ways that you can make a difference.
Headshaves have become an excellent way to raise the profile of worthy organziations and raise funds for programs and services. If you are organzing a headshave event, or have inspired others to raise funds in this manner, please consider donating the proceeds to the Kids with Cancer Society. The Society will work to provide you with pledge forms, letters of support, suggestions, and tax receipts.
Involving Your Workplace. If you know of a company that has a community investment program, makes general donations, or holds fundraising events, we would love to hear from you. Providing contact information will allow us to pursue fundraising opportunities and truly make a difference in the lives of our children and their families.
Employee Payroll Deductions. Did you know that you can direct your payroll deductions to a charity of your choice? Whether you donate through a registered agency, or through your employee payroll deduction giving plan please consider requesting that your donation be directed to the Kids with Cancer Society. Your H.R. representative will be able to provide you with additional information.
Matching Gift Programs. Many employers will match donations made by their employees to registered charities. Please ask your HR department if your company will match your donation to the Society.
