About the event
In 2006 the LOOK and Stepper Homes Revving up for Kids was created. This annual event encourages motorcycle riders across the province to join together in an effort to support children with cancer and their families demonstrating that there are no geographic boundaries where childhood cancer is concerned. Each rider and passenger pay a registration fee to offset their expenses. They also are required to raise at least $1,000 in pledges. To date the ride has raised over 1 million dollars!

The 2012 four day tour will start in Red Deer and travel southwest to Canmore and into BC. The riders will experience some of our country’s most spectacular scenery. Overnight stays include Canmore, Fernie and Kananaskis country before they return home on Sunday June 24.

Parade of heroes
The Parade of Heroes is the official kick off for the event and is sponsored by Brazzo Contractors Ltd. The riders, children and their families will gather Sunday May 27, 2012 at Hawrelak Park for a BBQ and to witness some very special kids ride a motorcycle.
