September 3rd to September 6th 2010

The Kids with Cancer Society is pleased to invite our families to the 22nd annual family camp.  This year’s camp will be held Friday, September 3rd to Monday, September 6th 2010 at Camp He Ho Ha, located 45 minutes west of Edmonton.     
 
This four day weekend provides an indoor camping experience featuring comfortable dormitories for families who are at various stages of treatment, survivorship and beyond.  Activities such as swimming, arts and crafts, mini golf, climbing wall and ropes course provides families with an opportunity to reach out to others in similar situations in a relaxed and welcoming environment. There are no costs associated with the weekend.  
 
Camp Beat It is open to immediate family members only.  If you are a single parent you are able to bring a companion; however, the companion must be over 18. Although counsellors will be available to support families, parents are responsible for their children at all times.
