Ken Webb Volunteer Award of Merit
Ken was a gentle kind man with an enormous heart who inspired those around him to reach out to our children. He believed in the Society and along with his family worked tirelessly for more than a decade to guide us and help us reach our potential. Ken is the reason that the Kids with Cancer Society is what it is today.
Ken’s mark can be seen throughout the Society, and will be felt for many years to come. Perhaps Ken’s greatest gift was the love and support that he and his family provided families through the annual Christmas party. Ken was a gift to us, and serves as an example of how one person’s vision can truly make a difference in the lives of those around him. He is sadly missed.
The annual Ken Webb Award of Merit was created to honour and remember a man who for decades demonstrated the true spirit of volunteerism. It is also an opportunity for us to recognize those who display the same characteristics. To view this year’s and previous year’s recipients, click here.
